Per Suntum, an internationally renowned jeweller, resides and creates on the Danish island of Bornholm. In 1965, he graduated as a goldsmith from Hans Hansen Silversmithy with Silver Medal. Two years later, he then moved to Ireland to work at Rionore. In 1971, he left Europe to embark on over a decade of exploration and study across Asia and North Africa.
Returning to Denmark in 1981, Suntum resumed his goldsmith training at the College for Silversmithing and Jewellery, graduating in 1985. His creations are featured in numerous public and private collections, and his career has been marked by accolades such as the Danish Arts Foundation’s Life-Long Grant and the Prize of Distinction from the Inga and Ejvind Kold Christensen Foundation.
