Taiwanese master goldsmith Chao-Hsien Kuo is inspired by the natural surroundings of Finland, where she is based. Her sculptural work aims to capture the gestures and energy of organic life. She was invited to design for Lapponia Jewelry in 2006, becoming the brand’s first female designer. Her works have been exhibited worldwide.

Lapponia is a Finnish design company established in 1963 by Pekka Anttila. In September 2020, Kalevala Jewelry and Lapponia Jewelry merged into the new Kalevala brand.
